My friend just picked up some Volkl Alleys this weekend as his first pair of skis. He has always used rentals but got into skiing a lot last season so he wanted his own gear. I think he put Z12's on them. I was just wondering if this will be a decent first ski for him and if there's anything to watch out for on them. Haven't really heard much about this ski so I figured I'd ask. I am guessing they will be used 50% park and 50% groomers and probably be used more in the park as time goes on and he starts doing jumps and jibs.
