So I just got this game and I was playing career mode. for you people who have never played before there are other borders on the hill and they shout stuff to you. So I crash and someone says go get some skis.
Another instance you have to beat a pro by doing better tricks than him. One time my trick wasn't as good as his and in a sarcastic tone he says that was good for a ski flick.

This makes me pissed it makes the general public think skiing is lame. I just had to get that off my chest.

i told a guy on my lacrosse team that i was saving up for skis and he tells 'why dont you get a snowboard skiings gay'

About the general public aspect, most people who have never skied or snowboarded before, if you ask them which they will do they almost always say snowboarding. When you ask why, they say, looks more fun... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT BULLSHIT ABOUT.

Now that trick skiing has really evolved, there will be majorly less snowboarders, cause they see skiers pulling tricks way cooler than snowboarders, and there like, wow, that shit was ausome, snowbaording sucks, or something.

its funny because even biking at its new level has been recognized. When i used to tell people i skied and biked - they would think downhill racing skiing and cross country biking. Now they recognize biking but not skiing.

I was at the pool pulling corks and mistys off the board, and a guy was like 'so, practising for snowboarding?' and i was like no - skiing. he laughs at me and says 'noone can do anything like that on skis. Turns out he snowboards all the time too. people know alot less about skiing than we think they do.
