damn i'm surprised they put that up, that was pretty much all the footage from his part in retrospect. if you want to be some more sick shit, i'd recommend buying it.
jake brauvert... jake brawvit.... braaaw..vurt. I'll never forget the japanese man trying to pronounce his name in the forum movie a few years back, too funny.
Most kids have no clue what what level this guy is at… he makes natural feature look as if they are perfectly manicured park features. So much respect for his level and style of riding. It also shows that you don't need to spend all your time hitting bc jumps but rather seek out a perfect spine and slay the fuck out of it. big ups for this being a free video too.
Jake's style reminds me of Pollard. Smooth turns on the open face of a large mountain, butters off of cornices and 360 butters on pillow lines. Can't wait to see some of his footage in "The Art of Flight'. Jake is pushing the sport in a different direction like Pollard, all natural features no parks, pipes of jibs.
he did a webisode series last season. so all of those shots were already online, just in other episodes. its called naturally. you can see them on vimeo: http://www.vimeo.com/jakeblauvelt
that vid got me sooo stoked on the upcoming season. one of the best edits i have ever seen. thats where i wanna see riding progress in both skiing and snowboarding
