Okay, so i really want some spk Kaos boots but in alot of threads i've been seeing they seem to say they fit alittle bigger than the size actually is. I wear an 8.5 shoe size so i was thinking 26.5 boots? Anyway if you have or have had this boot can you help me out on what size to get? Thankss
Take the drive and get fitted...makes a big difference and the last boot I'd buy without seeing a fitter would be the spks....they pack out quick and strange to create weird hotspots in places like after a few times out....beware....plus the spks are wide ass boots fir wide ass feet...if you don't have wide feet don't get em
Also when you go dont go in to the shop saying i want spks as its more than likely your feet arent going to fit them properly and so it would be a waste of your money to buy them. Go in with an open mind as to the boots you are going to get. If you have a budget dont be afraid to go over it on another more expensive boot as a good fitting boot is going to make every day better. Boots are the most important thing in a set up. Also just because its not a "park" boot it doesnt mean it wont work in the park. A better fitting boot non "park" boot is going be way more beneficial than a sloppy fitted "park" boot. As you will notice in this post ive used the word fit anf fitted alot. Picking boots is all about the fit
^this....yeah dude for the last ten years I've been buying the boots I thought I was "supposed" to buy like spk pros, full tilts, etc....kinda thought fitters were for people with too much money who whined alot.....this year I actually sat down with a decent fitter and tried on everything from park style boots to full on race boots....what ended up working best were atomic hawx 120s.....if I were doing my own research and not working with a fitter, there's no way I would have ever considered that boot for what I do....no way....but it fits like a dream and felt pretty damn perfect jumpin around throwin 360s in the shop....I'm still a touch skeptical of the forefoot flex but they feel good....point being, don't just assume that a certain type or look of boot will work for you....I had all kindsa boot issues especially with the spks because I had my mind made up that it was the best boot for me ya know?
exactly what the other guys have said. Buying boots is about getting fitted. They is no way to buy boots online without going to a bootfitter. I personally got fitted into the kaos and love them. I strongly suggest taking the time and going to that boot fitter. You will regret it as soon as you start getting some shin bang from brutally fitting boots. {btw shin bang fucking blows.} I made the mistake of not getting fitted because I didn't know better and thats what the guy told me to get. A low end all mountain head boot for park. Later got refitted and got told it was a horrible boot for my foot. Get fitted!
