It was 9% and once I got used to it I really enjoyed it, but I finished it and grabbed a PBR and had to stop drinking it halfway because it was so gross and tasted like fucked up water because I got used to the giant 9% beer.

YES NOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT REAL BEER.

Also had a Big ten night few days ago, it was awesome. Strong beer is 9% and + , less 4%, we call them water bottles.

I hate indian pale ale. just not my taste at all. there are few beers I justify spending an abnormal amount of money on mainly because whenever I really feel like drinking I'll have a whiskey drink. Don't get me wrong, I drink a lot of shitty beer but that much is expected from anyone.
