Just building a winter drop in ramp for urban because the bungee just didn't really work how we thought it would. Anyway would it be a good idea to cover it in turf even though it's only for the winter? I think it would give a lot more slide then just straight plywood.
yeah turf will work, or if you want the max amount of speed, just mount a bunch of pvc pipes onto the ramp, perpendicular to the sliding direction, every 20cm/8inch or something .....
alright ,but you will lack edge control, and make sure there really small pvc pipes like 1/2 dia. in or so
or you could do what i do, and put little pieces of wood perpindicular to the ramp, just like i_am_god said. this will hold the snow on, give you speed, and you will have more edge control then using pvc.
