about 2 seasons ago, i got fitted and purchased some full tilt booters. I LOVED them for the first year & 1/2. But towards the end of the season on my left foot the little bump toward the middle of the left edge of my foot just got bashed by my boot (the bump was not there prior to getting the boots fit, I think my cycling shoes may have caused a bunion.) So are my feet not even proper for the booters now? Or should i go back and get them re-fitted/heat molded. (nearest dealer that can fit full tilt is 3 hours away)
Is this bump on the outside or inside of your foot? Either way, a good boot-fitter (not necessarily a Full Tilt dealer) can reshape the plastic so that it has the exact shape of your foot. Try that before buying new boots.
Yeah exactly as onenerdy said, you should be able to get the shell reshaped no problem. If its a bunion thats an easy fix. Go to any decent ski shops which fits boots, not just sells them and it should be around $10-20 to get it blown out. You may also want to take advantage of the shops fitting skills while you are there. If you do not have a custom footbed then that could be a reason your getting the pressure on the side of your foot. Have a decent fitter look at your feet, boots and see what he can do.
