Remounting my obsetheds.

So i bought some obsetheds second hand mounted with barons. Problem is the guy had them mounted at recommended, 7.5 cm back from care centre. I was thinking that i could use the existing front two holes and move the binding 7cm forward and save half a mount. This would put them at 0.5 cm back from core centre. They're the 09/10 model in 179. I live in Australia and don't really get a lot of snow (think east coast conditions) but i might head to Japan in Feb. Normally i ski a 169 90mm ski 2cm back from core centre so the the practically centre mounted obsetheds should still offer relatively more float. Oh, i'm 75kg (165lb), 178cm (5'10) and level 3 skier.
Anyway any input would be killer.
And because the shop i work at doesn;t have a Duke/Baron jig i was hoping that some of the holes from the griffon/jester binding would have the same width holes, if anybody knows.

duke/baron jig is different from the jester/griffon jig.

I'd do an insert in the re-used holes to prevent rip-outs, if you can even remount using old holes. You might as well just use all new holes and do inserts on all the new holes. I recommend that on any wide ski with more than one mount.
