I'm thinking about getting this helemet. have you ever worn one? If so did you wear a hat or not, goggles over or under and what size head you have? And also hows the venting on it? And i have a head sized 7 5/8 under 50/50 hats.

Alright thanks guys! Does anyone know how it looks? My last helmet was the holt and i wasn't stoked on it cause it has a super blobby curve on the top of the helmet.

just bought the shiv this morning, got it in L. should fit fine with my durag and googles underneath

they're actually entirely different helmets. the shiv is in mold construction while the revolver has a hard outer shell that is glued to the foam inside. i have both and i prefer the shiv. the shiv is really lightweight, has excellent venting, and the new 2012 shiv has a one piece removable liner that is really comfortable. i recommend wearing the giro basis park goggle because it has no buckles on the strap and is extremely comfortable to wear under the helmet. the new shiv is even cheaper than in the past this year i believe and comes in awesome color ways with basis goggles that match if you're into that.

i love my shiv, super light weight and low profile, and my goggles fit under it nicely
