Skiping grades.

So i am a somewhat good student and i was offered to skip grades next year. I would be goind from grade 10 to 11 like in the middle of the year and they said i wouldn't lose anything. Should i do it?

lol at the fact that you spelled skipping wrong. but you might not be in classes with any of your friends, you'll graduate early, and then go off to college before everyone else. I guess thats just detail though.

How many AP classes does your school offer? Because if they offer more than a few, you could ultimately end up saving a lot of money once college comes around, so skipping a year would actually cost you. Additionally, junior is hard, where as one can just cruise thru sophomore year. In other words junior year is extremely important for college, and you can't fuck it up. If I were you, I'd take my time, and relax ( I miss the ease of being an underclassmen)

Colleges might look at it as good but you are ultimately not going to be able to take advantage of what your school has to offer like ap classes and stuff. If good school afterwards is your goal then honestly just get bomb ass grades because your transcript will look way better. And seriously college at seventeen would be kind of whack. If I were you I wouldn't tush high school I anything it will give you more time to look at what you want to do with your life and seriously after your done with school you'll wish you had thy extra year haha. Just my 2 cents. Chicks in your class would def think youre a boss though if you skipped haha

As a senior in college right now I would say don't do it. I would stay in school for as long as I fucking can. If you really are that smart than an extra year won't hurt you in any way, it will probably help you. Maybe instead of skipping a grade, find a college you really want to go to and work in that extra year to get in. Bottom line: Im about to be done with school forever and that shit sucks. I wish I could stick around for another few years

Honestly, it would be dope... but I wouldn't do it.

Senior year is sooo much fun, and you're gonna want to enjoy it with YOUR friends, not kids in your grade who are a year older. Also, you're gonna wanna be 18 in college (unless you take a gap year).
