Think before you sell

I guess this is a bit of a psa but with all the recent natural disasters and such it has got me thinking...
Next time you're making a sale and think about throwing in those small burton pants or medium 686 pants, please reconsider. There is a high chance nobody will buy either pairs. Think about donating them to goodwill instead. I'm not trying to say everyone dump all their stuff off at a goodwill store, but be rational and if you have any outerwear that you have no use for, please consider donating. I will be donating all of my older outerwear that I can find and I hope that you guys can do the same, too.

your missing the whole point. He is not saying this so that the site doesnt get cluttered with snowboard crap, he is being a decent human being and thinking about kids less fortunate than u who cant afford $250 jackets every year who freeze during the winter left homeless.

use your own judgement people. I dont expect anyone to donate anything like that. Times are tough and we still need money, but I think most of us can afford to help the less fortunate. And to everyone in this thread stop arguing I'm trying to do something nice and you still find time to call kangbang names. Do something more productive please.

Not trying to be a debby downer, I think donating to the goodwill is an awesome idea. But some people in this world can't really afford " nice " outerwear. Of course its good to donate, but its also a good idea to try and sell a pair of pants to someone who cannot really afford G-suit pants, First drop or any other brand thats relatively expensive. Point being.. if your gear is in alright condition and its still usable.. why not try and sell it?

take your old gear to salvation army, value village, big brothers or whatever is in your town. It gives kids a chance who normally wouldnt get to enjoy skiing/snowboarding at a much more affordable rate, and leaves you knowing your stuff went to a good cause and helped someone out.
