1080's vs. scratch's

ive never ridden on scratch's, always had a pair of 1080's....but ive been thinking about trying out the rossi's. anybody got some input? sounds corny but which ones are heavier/lighter?

I liked the Scratches. They were really flexible, but they are easy to ride. The 1080's didn't have anything going for them like the Scratch's, they were an okay ski but nothing special. The 174 Scratch FS from 03/04 remained unchanged from 02/03, so its the same ski as before. I wouldn't buy it if you plan on using it for all-mountain more than park, because its so flexible.

scratches win. i have both, and i like the scratches a lot more than the 1080s for just about everything. the 1080s are a little bit wider, but i still like the scratches more.

i bought the scratches at the end of this season and only got one day in with them but they seemed nice. i had 1080's once and i was not a big fan.

heres the contruction of the scratchs, side by side it has three core parts. left is wood, middle is foam, and the right is a different type of foam. the reason i would suggest the scratches is because the left and right ski are identical. therefore making one turn a wood turn and the other a foam. if i were u i would go with armada or PEs

scratches over 1080s. I've tried both, and the scratch felt better.
