Ski sizing

5 cm will be nearly unnoticeable if it's the same ski. If these are different skis then that will also play into how you should choose.

At this point, it comes down to your riding style and ability. If you are mainly doing rails, or just starting out, where you would want a lighter, shorter ski, go for the 161. If you want more of an all-mountain ski that will be good on bigger jumps, and have more stability at high speed and in crud, and if you can handle throwing around more weight, go with the 166.

I'm always one for the longer ski--I ride a 176 and I'm 5'7". I like stability more than agility.

it depends how much growing you have left to do... im about 5'6 130 pounds. last year i rode 155 boone's and this year im moving up to 171 coreupts. 155 was small but if your a beginner like I was i would recommend going smaller. if you're more advanced then i would recommend going with the bigger size.
