http://runmfd.com/?page_id=8 Ok so the MFD heel release thing is out. I was pretty excited about it. But I have heard that it is pretty heavy. And it is $300! I think this is ridiculous. Im just wondering if anyone feels the same way. 300 dollars is a terrible price in my opinion. I guess I will stick with my alpine wreckers...

Yeah it's expensive, but if they are as good as they claim to be it would be worth it.

I have a pair that i was on for about the last 20 days of skiing last season. I have mine mounted with the 4frnt deadbolt 18s and it weighs just slightly more than the dukes do. I do like them a lot better than the dukes for a few reasons, 1) you are a lot lower to the ski for more control, better ski feel etc. 2) the mfd flexes with your ski so you arent completely jacking up your natural ski flex 3)I dont trust marker bindings. after blowing up 2 pairs of jesters in a season a couple years back i am not really too stoked to be on those. 4)more natural skinning motion(for me anyways) 5)I dont have to take my boot out of my ski to change it to tour mode.

I am picking a dynafit setup very soon so if anyone is interested in the mfds pm me. I would sell them for less than the new price.

Bump.

Did anyone else get to try these last year? I just got a set, going to mount with FKS 185.. I had Marker Dukes for ATing and they are completely trashed/broken after 1 season. Stoked to give this a try. Weighed them at the ski shop and all-in they were only 1 lb heavier then the Marker Duke.

Any feedback would be sweet.

I have mine mounted up to a pair of the FKS 180xxls. I only rode them once at the end of last season. but I absolutely loved them. Torsionally they are very rigid. This combined with the low ride height of that Rossy binding really does make it feel super stable. I can't wait to see how they are going uphill.
