I have been dating this girl on and off for about 2.5 years now. I love her so much.
We went out for about 3 months in winter of 2009-10 and then broke up for a few weeks and went out again for about 4 months in spring of 2010. After breaking up with her that time (I broke up with her btw and it was stupid and for bad reasons on my part) we didn't talk to each other for about 1 year and then in the spring of 2011 we started going out again and have been going out since then. We broke up today but i fear this may be for good. We moved out to Colorado School of Mines as Freshmen this year and she is in a dorm and i am in an apartment with a few guys. Life is very different here in CO and today she broke up with me because i was smoking weed.
Normally it wouldn't upset her but for my specifique case she was unhappy. I have a history with weed I got caught and had to do some juvenile diversion program. I've also slept at another girls house one night after a party that she was not invited to. I created many problems between us when I didn't think about my actions. Lying about smoking and a few other smaller things are examples.
I am asking you NSG for advice and whether or not I should fight for her or let her go? I want to stay with her and I feel as though we have a legitimate future together and I love her but I just don't know what to do. I feel as though many of our problems where caused by me and it feels shitty. Now i don't really know what i'm writing i'm just rambling. Please just comment and give me advice or something. Just looking for someone to talk to.
