you gotta respect the game. Building a huge, bad looking jump onto a rail, in my opinion, takes away from the integrity of the feature in 2 ways. On film, it takes away from the aesthetics, and physically it makes the feature much easier.

Its the same concept of etiquette in golf. Perhaps I read too much into it,(I'm clearly over-analyzing a pretty trivial topic) but I really believe these "rules" matter, a lot.

if nothing else, at least knock your set-up over when you're done.

people make the jumps for urban booters nowadays. Luckily for me i live in a city where there are a lot of skiers/snowboarders, all the urban me and my friends hit last year was already setup, we just had to make minor adjustments to the jumps

If you want a big jump up to a rail go hit it in the park. If you can't have a little jump for an urban then you're not ready for urban.

Although if you're trying a new trick on a urban then it's fine to have a big jump there's no point making it dangerous as long as you have enough speed.

I do some gymnastics stuff, and one of my coaches has never done any of the stuff she's coaching me on, but she is still certified to do it and she is a great coach. You don;t need to be the best to teach.
