My girlfriend is a cardiac nurse. She had a love/hate relationship with nursing school haha. it's a ton of work, but she had a lot of really good experiences and got to spend time at the hospital in different areas of nursing so she could choose what she wanted to be. She ended up graduating top in her class and loves her job now. She said all the hell she went through in school was totally worth it. She's actually going back to school this fall though, so she can become an adult acute care nurse practitioner, which = lots more money haha.
So, basically, if you have the motivation and dedication to do well, and are ok with sacrificing partying/friends sometimes, it's worth it if you want to become a nurse.
my gf is a sophomore majoring in nursing. it's a lot of work, but she likes it a lot. not too much advice i can offer really besides you will have a lot of work/studying to do from what she says. when i talk to her later i can ask her some questions if you have anything specific you'd like to know.
