Red rocks question

so im going to the deadmau5 show at the redrocks ive never been ther i just had a couple questions about sequrity. 1 will i be patted down to enter? (may be a stupid question) and 2 is it real easy to smoke bud in the crowd and not get busted? Thanks in advance my friends.

You get patted down at the interest, but they didn't even take off my hat, second everyone around me was lighting up and there are so many people there that there would be no way the cops would get you. When is Deadmau5 going there?

at red rocks you will get patted down, especially for a deadmau5 show. ive had them look in my hat, look down my shoes, and make me take off my bandana, etc. so just find a good spot to hide it that isnt too obvious. i always go with the socks or crotch. and if you start smoking while its still light out, they'll get mad at you so just wait til it gets dark and they dont try to stop you. once it gets started they say its inevitable so they watch out for harder drugs instead. hope that helps.
