I'm looking at new bindings right now, and the "schizo" feature on some of marker's bindings seems like it would be perfect for me, but I was wondering if there were any other bindings with that technology (markers are a bit expensive for my budget) and/or if there are any downsides to it! Thanks in advance for any help!
Never skied them, but my logic tells me the more movable parts you have in a binding the more shit will start to break. Plus for the price of them you might as well get another pair of skis for that with regular bindings
The real problem is that they're usually very heavy and not as good as a normal binding. PX demo toes have a switch in front of the toe that locks the piece in, it can get flipped to the unlock position very easily...
In all seriousness, take it from someone who rides demo's most of the season (prototyping and fleet skis) - I long for the regular versions of the bindings I ride.
