Skis for Park/Powder.

Hey NS,

I'm looking for a ski that performs well in the Park and also with Powder. I'm 5'9 and about 145 pounds and live out in BC, Canada.

My budget is around 200-500 without bindings.

Any Suggestion will help. +++k

Armada ARVs. 95 underfoot and super buttery allows it to float in pow unless you're going mach slow, while still not being so wide they can't hit rails/boxes/etc. It's my favorite ski in my quiver because there are no conditions it really can't handle.

Well, im buying some 2012 this year. 92 underfoot whit rocker. Like said abive, kung fujas are great i have them and they are nice in powder, soft but they are good ( i have the 95mm underfoot one whit rocker) . Here some more,Fatypus l-toro adam delorme pro model i think ( 101mm at the waist , 123-101-133 if i remember correctly), rossignol s5, s3. Line blend, armada tst ? Armada arv, coreupt candide pow maybe too wide. Atomic patent. 4frnt turbo or msp.

No problem. Only other off the top of my head would be the 4FRNT MSP- bonus to that ski is that it's relatively cheap compared to a lot of the others listed. You can get a sick deal on last years through Backcountry.com last I checked.

The candide pow is of similar dimensions to the blend, its slightly cheaper but the build quality is a bit sub par so its a low end line blend

Kind of out there, but have you thought about picking up some hellbents, my friend has them and he says there the most fun ski he's owned in the park and you obviously know how well they'll handle in powder

The hellbents used to be really good for jibbing and pow until they made the underfoot wider i would recomend the bents from 2 years ago because their underfoot is smaller. (Im not 100% when they made the underfoot bigger)

Well i have two frienda who both bought them and have had delaminating and top sheet chipping. Could have just been a faulty batch. So my opinon was based on this, on what now seems fairly flimsy grounds
