there is a hella good rebate deal at circut city for a 120 GIG hard drive for 39.99. it is a $80 rabate. i beleve it is a Western Digital

I think I paid about $80 for each of my 120s.... but they're serial ATA and not IDE, so that adds some $$ to it.

i picked up a WD 120 gig yesterday at frys for $50 (EIDE, not SATA). partitioned it down the middle and it's working fine

8mb level 2 cache. 7200 rpm.

they are easy. in MOST cases there is another space below the hard drive you already have. i beleve that hard drive has a cable to hook up 2 hard drives at once. you computer should have an extra power suppily that is currently not being used. o basically, slide in your new hard drive under the one you already have, put 2 screws in the side of it so that it does not slide out, hook up the wire that connecte it to the motherboard (and the other hard drive. when you buy the hard drive it comes with the wire and instructions on which end goes where) then you plug in the power supply (there should be a few that arnt connected to anything in your computer

on a mac as far is i can tell it is easyer because, atleast if you have a tower and not an imac or an emac then it is exteemly easy to open your compouter

games, video editing and mp3 files. I have 10 gigs of mp3s alone. and UT 2004 takes up 5.5 gigs!

yeeaaah...i have a 40 gig or so...and its full...
games, music, movies, pictures, porn, webpages, lots of stuff...
with teh 250 gig, the music/porn/movie/ sharing database in my dorm shall commence.
