I got a pair of #10 flex tongues for my Hot Doggers for all-mountain/charging steeps and what-not. After testing them out (just walking around in the house), I'm considering just keeping them in all the time and rock them in the park too instead of switching them out all the time cause it can be a bit of a pain. So, I'm looking for some people who do ride high stiff tongues on the Full Tilts in the park (10 specifically, but if you happen to rock a 9 from back in the day let me know too), if you do use them in the park, how do you like them, and if possible compare them to the stock #6 tongue of the HD/Classic. Thanks.

Kutcher does, I think. #10 is still pretty soft IMO.

Yeah #10 tounges really are not that stiff still, I used to work with a guy who had #10 tounges in his seths but still had to drill out and rivot the cuff as they were just too soft. I have only used #8 tounges but found them soft so I would want #10 for park and extra rivots for all mountain and steeps.

Yeah, I didn't really notice too much of a difference, so I'll just rock the 10s all the time to keep it easy, at least for the start of the season, if it does start to annoy me I'll switch them

I'm skiing on FT First Chairs, in park and everywhere else.
I enjoy them, I was thinking of buying a #6 for park, but I decided not to. I'm not all too sure if I'd want a softer tongue.
Which brings me to a question.
Since I was to order a #6, does anyone think I'd still be worth it? I know it's personal preference, and I am a bigger guy (6'2". 175lbs). I've grown up skiing big mountain, so that's where I like the #10. last season was my first season of park, but I plan to work on it much more. I feel like a #6 flex can be a little more forgiving when it comes to flat landings or over shoots, is this true? If so, it'd be the only reason for me to invest in a #6 flex tongue.

keep in mind that the cold will make the tongue way stiffer.

i do, I still find it to soft for out of the park tho. 3 strap boosters are a life saver
All times are Eastern (-5)
