All Mountain Park Ski??

Im really interested in a all mountain park ski as well. what is a better all around ski, the armada arv or the line chronics?

I would say that the ARV would be the better all mountian ski of the two, but from what I have seen they both handle park and mtn very well.

Not to hijac this thread, but I am very curious on peoples thought between the Line Chronic and the Atomic Patent ( which seems like a better comparison to me than the punx would be). 

For skiing east coast 50/50 all mtn and park.

You should really be considering the ON3P Jeronimo Or, for something a little less burly, the Volkl Bridge or Salomon 2012 (the Moment PB&J is an awesome all mountain ski, but at around 100mm underfoot it's proabably a little more cumbersome than what you are looking for in the park)

The on3p j-mo is supposed to be a real quality ski....anything they make is of the highest standards from what I'm told....with that said though I've never ridden them....I have however owned chronic cryptos the last few years which I believe are the same dimensions now as the new chronics.....for what you want it is the best ski I could recommend.....I absolutely loved mine....zero issues with them.....I beat the heck out of em and only had some minor tip chipping and the bases on my '09s are still as flat as the day I bought em....they were great in the park and ripped groomers....they can even do some light pow and tree runs....the only issue I can say I had is in heavy snow doin tight trees ya kinda gotta fight the tips a bit.....but honestly that's not what they're made for anyway so jus the fact that they can do it should be a testament to how good a ski it is.....good luck whichever way ya go but if I were you my decision would be between the lines and the on3ps.

I would like to put in another vote for Chronics, I ski in VT and they are the ideal east coast park/all mountain ripper

From the OP the only one out of those that would be a legit all-mountain ski is the s4. Bluehouse MR or k2 Kung Fujas would be other great options. Punx is soft and narrow I would hate my life if I had to ride it in powder same goes for the chronic.

Punx, s4, and chronic can do fine on groomers / bumps / chop but you're going to be working harder than you need to because the ski is doing little to help you.

Kung fujas in my mind is hands down the best true all-mountain park ski. It can shred in any condition and still do real well in the park although it's not the best ski for learning park on.

Dude maybe your talkin last years chronic and not this years....the new one has the same dimensions as the crypto....to say it sucks all mountain is like saying a-bangers are great for all mountain....I skied Jupiter bowl on my cryptos...zero issue and still beat my buddy to the bottom who was ridin fujas....the 12 chronic is a stellar all mountain/park ski....end of discussion....and even if I was considering fujas I'd go '12 bacons over those in a second....I've ridden alot of k2s over the last six years and they're decent but not a single one has the feel I get from lines....considering they own them I don't see why they don't jus incorporate what works from line over to the k2s but whatever.....I guess it's all preference and to each hid own....I personally just cringe whenever I hear someone recommend k2s.
