first things first. this game kicks ass, havent gotten a chance to play it much til now but it's fucking awesome

but hey can anyone hit me up with a link to show me all the armor options, and how you get them? thanks

also, fuck fucking armor lock. so fucking gay

also the credit system should reward you more for doing well

seriously this armor lock shit is so fucking cheap. you completely own a guy and right when youre about to finish him off, oh he's in armor lock and his bro shows up to cap you. not to mention how gay it is that the armor hurts you if youre close enough

any ways to get at these guys?

grenades usually do the trick against armor lock, right before they pop out of it throw a nade at his feet. Thats the only way i got around it.

no yeah i do that a lot and it's great when it works but sometimes it doesnt.. plus if you stick them then they go into armor it falls off! such an overpowered perk

One thing about all Halo games that irks me, is that none of the weapons have any balls, or sense of consequence to them.

Maybe with the exception of the Pistol from Halo CE.

ehhhh i dont know about that.. i mean yeah you cant kill people as quickly as COD or something, but saying none of the weapons have balls or consequence is pretty off..there are all kinds of combos that kill people pretty much instantly, nade + headshot and stuff like that, not to mention sniper rifle and shotgun, rocket launcher, laser etc

anyway there's just so much to the combat in halo, instead of 99% of the kills being a rifle, the nades, melee and gun are equally important.. so many more decisions/second in halo than games like COD (dont get me wrong i love COD, just sayin) and angles and shit..shit's so fun!

I meant more like... compare the double shotty in Doom with any Halo peashooter, really, it's just *piff-*paff* stuff.

The only recent game that has managed to make guns feel innovative, interesting and powerful, is Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Buy it now.

oh, well, there's your answer then. youre looking at the wrong game if that's what you want. halo's a sick ass competitive game (almost sport like IMO), other games like doom and shit are more for people who want to shoot big ridiculous guns etc

i feel you but yeah that's not what i play halo for

I loved Halo 1, never played any multiplayer, don't really care for those other than with friends. Even the plasma nade in Halo is so disappointing.

it's not as fun as zombies in halo 3. but if you keep playing you'll unlock everything eventually. i was doing well today, k/d of +21 with running riot and open season and +17 with nothing special. I've been getting good since i got surgery and have been doing nothing else.

yeah i used to play a lot of h3 at school, havent played in forever but i had a ton of fun turning it on today and getting back into the groove a little. played some team of dickbag generals and shit and played really well against them, it's like anything, if youre at a pretty high level and play it against/with really good people you play at your best..fun shit

so what? it's a fucking video game. my older brother was top 20 in some dumb boxing game for ps3 and he only played it for a few months. video games are just fads and being good at them is about as worthy as saying that you're really good at jacking off. it's a fucking joke but if you're into it then feel free to waste your time.

just becuase i speak the truth? video games are fun as hell but to go around claiming how good you are at them is pathetic. all it means is that you spend too much time playing with your joystick... invest your time into getting good at something that matters.

i remember when i used to play halo 3 for hours. i find that a game like halo is far more social than COD for example. like, i used to play halo 3 for hours on end and would chat to people in-game and play with them, and have massive custom games with loads of friends, and i made heaps of friends through it too. having also played COD a lot, i can safely say that it's quite different. can't wait for halo CE anniversary edition
