Ok so i play ps3 and battle field is looking awesome for both online and campaign, But you cant beat the classics. im kinda vering towds battlefield 3.

look on your local listings or craigslist usually you can find them cheaper there. and to mr.panda im not suprised the servers have been going down the game just came out but it does get annoying just play campaign or watch netflix while you wait.

Conquest mode, I ended up parachuting in on top of a building... that was RIGHT on top of the B-flag. Whip out the Recon kit and I started raping. WOOWOOWOOWOO

I just started playing conquest mode and I'm starting to enjoy it more than rush the more I play it. The only thing I miss is base jumping off the top of Damavand Peak to get to the last MCOM haha.

conquest mode is THE SHIT. probably my favorite game mode of any shooter i've ever played.
just got my first MVP..i feel like i just gave birth to my first born. so proud.


can't believe i'm just now getting in to the Battlefield franchise...this is far superior to MW.

I wouldn't go as far to say BF is superior to MW as I view them as two types of games with the same premise. MW games are fun for quick games when you only have an hour or two to play with some friends and if you can keep the rage down you just go in and fuck around. BF I could play for like 5 hours and not realize it's been that long. BF is designed for long sessions.


Also, I camp in Conquest like a motherfucker. Especially on Firestorm on top of the B-Flag with a tac insert basically and I get like +200XP for every kill cause I usually spot them, kill them with a headshot, and then manage to get some point for defending a flag.

i'd say this is pretty accurate. i sat down and played for three hours last night without even blinking an eye.
what i think makes it better is there are so many different ways to play every mode. if you want to go out and capture objectives; you can and you'll be justly rewarded for that. if you want to sit back, camp and get some kills, you can do that to but it never takes long for the enemy to discover you position. if you want to run and gun, you can do that too but you'll be kicking yourself when you play stupid and sprint around a corner without checking it first.

also i love how slow you level up and obtain new weapons/upgrades.



fuck this thread, i'm going to play more BF3.

thats because different companies make each game. MW if different than the other ones, I just cant remember the companies that are the good ones.

Infinity Ward spilt up though. So it's pretty much a different team on MW3. But that doesn't matter because you should all be playin BF3 anyways. Conquest is dope, the gameplay just feels more rewarding the the run n gun halo style of MW. There isn't many little douches on BF3. There are vehicles that aren't totally overpowered. It is the best military based FPS by far /claim.

but yeah the game is dope. way harder than COD though imo

and to the dude complaining about the sniper not killing in one hit, that's one of the main reasons i play hardcore mode

I'm not sure I agree with this. It's definitely harder to get massive amounts of kills and a high k/d, but if you focus on capping/arming the objectives, giving out med kids/ammo, reviving dead teammates, and try to work some kills in while you're at it, it's pretty easy to get toward the top of your team. Also, if you have a good tank driver and you're on the gun, and one of you is an engineer, you're pretty much unstoppable.

hahaha yeah dude conquest is so sick. i used to only play rush for a while but now im more of a conquest guy. also switching between TDM, CQ, and rush has been nice for me, it keeps me from raging too hard

I like both! Like MW3 is fun and fast paced but it can piss me off if i play too much and then battlefield 3 is fun because it is more team based and killing and moving and vehicles make it more realistic. MW3=Win BF3=Win

Yes, they are made with the reach engine, but they run smoother, and the gameplay is much more Halo-3 esque... No more stupid jetpack or armourlock or those dumb ass things, the bloom is reduced, and the maps are AWESOME.

i rented mw3 to give it a shot, it's cool but it is IDENTICAL to mw2. and is it just me or are the maps super small and frenetic? i got shot in the back ~9000 times

this pretty much sums up MW3. if you equip yourself with a decent SMG (all overpowered compared) and a good set of perks you have to TRY to not go at least 1:1.
