Ok so i play ps3 and battle field is looking awesome for both online and campaign, But you cant beat the classics. im kinda vering towds battlefield 3.

Apparently, you can choose what servers you want to play on (sort of like a PC interface) in the New battlefield for console. Definitely is a huge advantage.

They really should have developed a different game engine for MW3. After all, they did have 2 years to develop it. MW2's engine was alright but had many flaws. The graphics look too cartoony and you still cant blow buildings up.

Battlefield 3 > MW3

For sure. If you have a pc that can run BF3 go for that over ps3 because the gameplay is much more suited for that kind of gamer (more tactical squad play) and those servers can have up to 64 people.

battlefield 1942 was pretty sweet. battlefield vietnam was amazing and i played the shit out of it. battlefield 2 was wicked and the infantry only maps were a blasty blast. i'm sure battlefield 3 is going to be off the hook. only problem is we're going to have all the nerd raging mouthy cod fanboys crossing over now that it's going to be available to consoles.

2 completely different types of games.

BF3 = Team based, giant maps, vehicles, slower paced.
MW3 = Run and gun, Kill as many fuckers as possible, faster paced.

this....i like the story line for the moder warfar series but thats all i like. battle field is just more fun....more flowing, better grafics, better muiltyplayer.

Two different kind of games so you can't really say which is better.

Obviously Battlefield is going to be better if you like team based shooters and obviously Modern Warfare is going to be better if you like run and guns.

It is like comparing apples vs. oranges. Please understand this!

Counter Strike: Global Offensive! When i saw i can finally play CS again (dont have my PC anymore just a macbook which wont play it) I was so excited that I wanted to cry! Even though CS doesnt have a great track record on consoles (remember they had CS on the og xbox that was alright) this looks like its going to be awesome!

But I will still prob pick up Battlefield 3 and MW 3 but Battlefield 3 is looking better then MW3 I guess we will see what happens.

MW2.5 is funnily enough going to be very similar to every last one in the series. They need a new game engine with better graphics, they need a better variety of guns, they need to sort out their multiplayer problems, they need to make their campaigns alot better etc etc. I saw the BF3 trailer and gameplay videos and it just looks so much better as an FPS. The only reason COD is competing with it is because everyone and their friends buy it no matter how good or bad it is. I'll buy it >.<

Iv'e always been a mw fan, but I started playing BFBC 2 and BF2, and they are way more fun...

COD games lack variety and you get tired of it after some weeks.
Battlefield games are alwayes different and more fun. In bf you are awarded for playing for your team, which your not in COD games.
And, bf3 is more creative, bigger maps, more realistic, better weapons, you can drive planes, helis, cars, tanks, boats and more.
Btw it also has very realistic physics, which anu COD game doesn't have.

Mw3 < BF3

i'm getting both, but getting Battlefield 3 for PC.

64 person multiplayer with god damn jets, tanks, jeeps, and just people everywhere. I cant wait to blow some shit up!!



i feel like the people that hate on Battlefield and claim COD is better just suck at battlefield. Its a different type of game, so it takes a lot to adapt. But once you get it, sniping people across map leading your shots and whatnot its just way more satisfying, and it makes COD feel like halo or something

EA's Origin controversy is going to kill a shitload of BF 3 sales. Such a shame for DICE who wanted no part in this bullshit.

MW3 WILL beat BF3. However that doesn't make it a better game. I'll personally be getting both. Battlefield for when I want to play by myself, squad up, and dominate, and MW3 for when I want to get drunk, have friends over, and go nuts with a FAMAS and every perk that pisses people off.
