Rating your b/s/t items.

Everyone always rates there shit 9/10 even if like half the pant leg is gone....

Shit wanted to write more. Stuff shouldn't be rated just explained if there is a problem with it. EX: Screen print cracking or zipper broken off.

Good Idea it's so subjective plus to a kid whose trying to sell his stiff like he'll actually rate it low.

This is my rating...

10/10 brand new, tags (or not) but never used. NEVER SKIED

9/10 tried on, new, worn once around the house, but looks brand new, NEVER SKIED

8/10 worn a couple times, washed maybe 1-2 times. MOUNTED, or skied once. no scraps, anything

7/10 worn more then not, washed, wavy zipper, maybe a small hole, or a mark from a pen. SKIED, but with no base damage, maybe a top sheet scratch or two.

6/10 worn a lot, still wearable but looks used, small hole, pilling, stuff like that. SKIED for a season, some base scratches, some topsheet damage, and no edge damage.

NS is the only site with a buy/trade that actually give a rating out of 10. Most useless rating system ever, just explain what is wrong with the item if anything.

Then do it yourself if you want to call it 9/10. Put the condition its in for the buyer not what it could look like once they fix it. G suit coats are way over hyped now anyway. Only kids you'll see on the hill in them are joeys the riders are on to new trends not living in last winter. Gluck selling your mint 9/10 coat should be easy on here.

I think there should be a sticky at the top of St that gives standards for rating conditions. 10/10- new with tags. 9.5/10- new, tried on but not for more than that, missing tags/original packaging. 9/10 - this thing is good. Worn once around the house for a bit, still perfectly clean, no damage and could pass for new. 8/10 - still pretty damn good., you could find some pilling or small dirt marks, maybe worn under a jacket but never exposed to snow/dirt, not quite as soft as it was new. I'm on mm Ike so I'll get a full scale tomorrow

call ppl out if they are wrong, only way that it will get through their heads

or sellers could just list what's up with their items and simply drop the x/10 rating .....
