Another Skate Edit..... looking for critique

Hey NS,
Shot this a couple days ago at a local skatepark. Unfortunately my camera (d3100) has some major exposure issues when it comes to video. You may notice some overexposure and some flickering. Just looking too see what I might have done right or wrong. 




Also I know this song was used recently in an edit, yet I went ahead and used it.

thought it was pretty good man.
few things-
4 tricks in 40 seconds? thought it was all a little dragged out.
the song goes really hard for just a local skate edit
and try playing around with follow cams and other angles, there was alot of stationary panning shots

Thanks for a solid critique. I really wasn't diggin the song either but I had nothing in else in mind. It was more my lack of motivation to find something better (more fitting)

I did to an extent. Flickering is tough to fix, at least in vegas.......unless I'm missing something?

Might I ask what the EXACT picture control settings you used were? And did you focus using the built in LCD or did you have LCD VF?

I used the vivid control but there really isn't much of a difference between that and standard. I actually set the focus manually through the viewfinder, then I switch it into live view.

Make sure you lock your exposure when shooting with the 3100, the AE is causing the flickering

do not film from shoulder height with a fisheye, hold it LOW and get CLOSE.
