HD is easier to balance because it has more articulating points and adjustment mechanisms. I personally think it's worth the price, while others here will disagree.
Well yeah...emphasis on getting the weights dialed.
You wouldn't believe how many people I've seen use their "balanced" Glidecams when they aren't balanced at all. Some are close, at best. Not to say it's impossible to balance a Glidecam Pro, but the HD makes it significantly easier. It's basically the difference between being "close" and "mechanically perfect."
For DSLR users, I'd say get the HD. but if you're looking at the 400 you prob use a decently sized camcorder. I wanna get the HD sooo bad but I have no money :/
Forgive the retardness of these questions but.....I just bought a 1080 GoPro yesterday. Is this what you guys are talking about weight and balancing issues?
