Replying to Someone Smart With Computers Please Help

I've had this problem for so long and it's really starting to piss me off. My Xbox won't work because it says it's not being assigned an IP Address from my router. It says to enable DHCP, which I have done many times, by doing whatever they tell me. I even tried doing it through command lines by typing "netsh nap client set enforcement ID = 79617 ADMIN = "ENABLE"" That's what I've been told to do elsewhere online and by my ISP.
