Replying to Full Tilt Options
So today I went to a bootfitter who put me in some full tilts (hot doggers) for the first time, and i thought they were amazing. they fit my feet really well, and he even heat molded the liners for me to try on, and i didn't even have to buy them right then, and it was a huge difference. after this experience, i don't know if i want to even ski in another boot. now, i'm on a budget, and cant pay 550 bucks for them. they are on sale right now (15 percent off, so $467) for the weekend, and they will be again sometime in october (when there are more sizes and stuff too) but the fitter told me if i didn't want to pay that much i could wait till the classics are in my size, buy them on sale, pay 30 bucks to put the shock absorbing bootboard in it, and save like 80 bucks (only $391 with the 15% off). of course, they won't have the pro liner, but otherwise would be pretty much the same. so ns, would it be worth it to hop on these hot doggers on sale, or go for the classics with the boot board. by the way, i'm 5'8 130 pounds and i'd be buying 28.5 boots. i don't think thats all that relevant in this case but i'll include it anyway.
