a 170 flat will feel wicked small. Im about your size and I havent used a ski under 180 for a while. Take the 180. If you put any weight on or grow more, youl be thankful

all depends on what type of skier u are, my bro is 5ft11 and he goes for a pair of 171 because he is mainly a rail skier and doesn't hit huge kickers

-If you are a rail skier go with something slightly smaller, will give more mobility

-If you like hitting massive Tables or all mountain go for something wich corresponds to your height or maybe even bigger
