I just got news that Nike is dropping the 6.0 brand, and just having Nike Snow, Nike Surf, etc. so when did this happen?

yeah i think so, their bmx department definitely isnt going away considering they just bumped chad kerley to the pro team

they realized they didnt need to be core anymore...

side note: nice job nike, your shot of jossi was super clear and not out of focus at all in the freeskier buyer's guide...

really helps us skiers take your brand seriously that you spent more than 5 minutes slapping that ad campaign together

Its true.. I've heard it through the nike distributor here in Denmark..

They are making it all into nike as one brand cause Nike 6.0 didn't get all the success they expected.

All the nike commercials ive seen recently weren't 6.0 and didn't have any skiing in them... *hint hint*

I can't remember any skiing in a Nike add. And as far as the 6.0 adds go, it very well could have been on something else I was watching and I just mixed shit up.

I see so many kids rocking 6.0 kicks it's ridiculous. It's too bad what a company that size has to do to declare success. I mean they prolly pay 4 cents a shoe to some malaysaian to make and the mark up to eighty still didnt hit their price point? Anyway j just hope their stuff stays cool. Maybe the snow line would be dope like they would focus more on having separate ski and snowboard stuff. Nike ski boots would be interesting.. Haha

kinda cool that nike is finally dedicating a big part of their brand to skiing. and nike did get their womans ski jacket into freeskiers buyers guide editors choice.

maybe IF3 will take Nike's name off as the main sponsor. It's sad such a legit event is renamed to such a terrible company.

they actually changed it at the last minute - it was simply the Nike US Open of Surfing... they also had "Just Do It" splashed everywhere with no mention or 6.0

lesson: buy up all the 6.0 shit you can now as those idiot nike collectors will pay top dollar once it's all limited edition moving forward
