Chamonix/Switzerland for honeymoon

Hey everyone. My fiance and I are thinking about taking our honeymoon to
europe skiing. I feel that we are solid skiers, with off piste
experience, including St. Anton, Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, whistler,
etc.
I know that Cham has sick skiing, but in terms of all of the honeymoon
stuff, how does it scale? Our priorities are sweet skiing first, good
nightlife with nice pubs, restaurants second. We do want stuff to do
after skiing, but we don't want to party hard because we're there to
ski. St. anton was perfect if you've ever been there.
The other major destination is Zermatt. Switzerland seems incredibly
expensive, but how do these two places compare in terms of our
priorities? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Chamonix usually gets more snow than Zermatt, but I would lean towards Zermatt for a honeymoon.
Chamonix is a little city with lots of traffic, compared to Zermatt which is car free. Zermatt always has this incredible feeling of peace. Both have stunning scenery surrounded by the highest mountains of the Alps and glaciers everywhere. Zermatt is indeed a bit more expensive. The town of Zermatt is absolutely stunning, with great nightlife.
The skiing infrastructure is better in Zermatt and the freeride is more accessible. Zermatt is one enormous ski area, where Chamonix is a collection of smaller ones. Usually the freeride in Chamonix involves a lot more hiking, touring and mountaineering.
Let me know if you have any questions or need recommendations!

I would say Zermatt too, but it indeed is pretty expensive... (especially with the current Euro-Franken exchange rate)
All times are Eastern (-5)
