we might have a chance against usc whose in the shitter due to their controversies. plus its a blackout home game so thatl be fun... but otherwise give it a few years and cu will be a top 25 team.

I never said the QB didn't need any of the other positions, or that it didn't rely on the other team members, because it does. But the quarterback is the only position I actually view that has skill. The runningback has a LITTLE BIT, in my opinion, but being 200-300 pounds and protecting someone trying to throw a ball wouldn't take years and years of training to perfect.

You can beat Hawaii, Colorado St, Washington St, UCLA, and maybe Cal but don't count on making a bowl game haha. USC will pummel Colorado.

My predictions

USC will probably win the Pac 12 South... They're still arguably the best team in the conference. Arizona State is the only team that could oust them there, and because of that, will play in the championship game. Utah will do alright, but not well enough. UCLA is laughable, Colorado is the Wazzu of the south, and UofA will upset one week, and disappoint the next like normal.

Oregon will win the North. Stanfurd will disappoint, because they're severely overrated, and nobody else can hang with Oregon (except for Cal, apparently - who almost upset them last season - abeit by flopping all over the place haha). Udub is even more mediocre without Locker, Wazzu is... in the Big Sky Conference, Oregon State is middle-of-the pack.

2 Undefeated seaons, the first not so impressive beating Pitt but in 2008 we finished 2nd and I think we most certainly could have put up extremely stiff competition if not won the Title. Utah is not as a historic team as Colorado, but as of late Colorado is garbage and Utah is doing quite well.

When it comes to football I'm not hating on the Buffs it's just clear they are outmatched.

in the mountain west conference... dont expect utah to do so well in the pac-12. (cu isnt going to do too well either initially). but claiming utah will win the pac-12 is straight ludachris..

Utah will do fine against Pac 12 competition. They're not going to be tops, but they're historically fantastic against the conference.

Colorado on the other hand... is utterly screwed right now until things improve a thousandfold as far as I see right now. Better hope the new coaching staff pulls off a Tedford.

It's not insane to think that. Utah was blessed by the scheduling gods and doesnt have to face Oregon or Stanford.

They arent the best team but Oregon and Stanford will be the reason they win (if they do) more than how talented the Utes team is. I expect 2-3 Conference losses

Eh.. just wait... It's because the East Coast hasn't clued in yet, and the Pac 12 encompasses all the big skiing areas of the west - California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Colorado.

Anyone but the SEC is what I say right now...

I'm betting on an Oklahoma - FSU championship game. Arkansas, LSU, or Alabama are the favourites in the SEC, but I feel the SEC is going to eat itself alive this year, and out of the championship game (please happen...)

It's less skill, more being that size and not dying during football games. People underestimate just how difficult it is to be that massive yet be athletic enough to move and block defensive lineman who these days are insanely athletic.
Look at somebody like Da'Quan Bowers, the dude is 6'3 280 lbs and runs a 4.57 40 for fucks sake. Ridiculous.
