Replying to What did I just do..

I am in agonizing pain right now guys and I need some advice. Kind of embarrassing but here we go.. I am suppose to be meeting this girl tonight at a party and I'm 90% sure she wants to hook up.  Due to my foreshadowing of said event I decided it would be a good idea to trim my pubes.  At first I was just going to take a razor to it but ultimately decided it would be more efficient to trim with some scissors first to make it easier with the razor.  So i broke out a nice pair of scissors and started to go at it over the toilet. I was pulling my hair tight with my other hand in order to increase the amount of hair being snipped off with each slice.  I have done this before with no problem so I thought I had it down and was being pretty lax about the whole situation. I was getting the hair near my shaft when suddenly I was hit with a sharp pain.  I didnt notice that I had pulled up some skin next to my shaft.. I took a nice chunk of skin right off and blood instantly started to pour out.  I couldnt tell you the last time i shed a tear until now.. It hurt like a bitch. At first I put pressure on it with a facecloth but that did not help. Right now I have an ace bandage wrapped around said area but I can see blood seeping through at the moment.  I'm not sure whether or not to inform my parents because based on my observations this injury could need stitches. I wasn't using dull scissors boys and girls, I was using some pretty heavy duty CutCo ones. They cut through my skin like a knife in butter. Right now it hurts to walk and I am soon going to text the girl telling her I have to bail for some other stupid reason.  So how should I handle this situation? Tell the parents or wait it out and  hope it closes up itself?

Sparknotes: I wasn't paying attention while trimming my pubes and I took off a nice chunk of skin near my shaft. Yes, I feel like an idiot.
