So, a boarder friend of mine. Loves the snow, not really into progressing and what not. Just likes to shred at his pace and shit. So, he knows how much i go on about learning shit and being on the snow. He asked about the GoPro's. I've mentioned them to him before as awesome learning tools and an awesome buy for remembering trips, what with being able to put simple video's together. He saw his first GoPro at the Great America park in San Jose, a chick was wearing a body harness one and lining up for the front of the roller coaster we in line for.

So, he openly said that being as he's mostly gonna be following me around the park, he's the one that will video stuff for me and throw in half for a Hero 1080. What a ledge!

If anyone knows of any good deals going round right now? Already come to terms with throwing down $300 for the Pro. Wont be getting the bac-pac yet. WIll be checking all the stores round by me for deals. REI is a definite check, with my mate having a REI card. Other than that. I cant wait to get hold of my first GoPro as i leave for my first ever week at Hood on Friday.

One question regarding the placement of the helmet clip, when the camera is side mounted, does this unbalance your head enough so you notice it? I know the camera is pretty light, but with all the mounting and the camera, cant be that light that you wouldn't feel it swing when turned your head.

Literally cannot wait. 10 hour road trip. So so stoked.

Ha. In my world, this is awesome. I showed him the prices and differences between the 960 and 1080. Was never in doubt, he picked to 1080 straight away. Generosity is cool to me.
