I dare anyone to beat this:
- School founded in 1880
- Campus is around a fucking middle age castle in a 70 acres park, in front of a lake. And that is the "Summer Campus".
- During Winter times, students move to the ski resort of Gstaad where they live in a group of Chalets including swimming pools fitness centres, tennis courts, ice-hockey rink, a
bowling alley, Curling, 250 kilometers (approximately 156 miles) of Alpine ki slopes and 120 kilometers (approximately 75 miles) of Cross country ski tracks.
- Bi Lingual (french english), plus obligation to learn at least one other language.
- Currently construscting a 45 millio "Arts and Performance Centre".
- no more than 10% of the students may come from a single country.
- The Student Teacher ratio is 5:1 with the average class size being less than 10 students.
- There is a sailing center at the summer campus.
- All the sports u could think of is available (more or less)
- Activities on offer to students include sports clubs, including airplane flying lessons, horse-riding, golf, sailing karting scuba diving and shooting.
On certain weekends a variety of activities are made available,
including mountain expeditions, theatre trips to London, visits to Rome,
Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Vienna and Madrid, athletic challenges, trips to watch football (soccer) matches, Formula One racing, equestrian events, tennis tournaments, and school balls.
-
Humanitarian mission in Mali, India and Romania.
- Trip to Cuba, Mexico, Iceland, Vietnam, Kenya, Egypt.
- Sports and arts facilities at Le Rosey include: 10 clay tennis courts
, a 25-meter indoor pool and wellness centre, a 25-meter outdoor pool, 3 football pitch,
1 synthetic rugby pitch, 1 wood chip running track, a shooting and
archery range, an open-air theatre, and a computer-regulated greenhouse.
- World most expensive high school.
And for the list of their former student, it's way too long to post here so here is the wiki page with the alumni: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institut_Le_Rosey
ps: i didn't attend this school but went there often as a student of a rival private school. We usually played against their teams in sports league and stuff. Truly amazing school.
there u go: beat that.
