YO NS HELP ME CHOOSE FRIKKIN SKIS

I got a pair of atomic punx last year. I would reccomend them to pretty much anyone doing jumps and rails. They are super buttery and havent had any problems on rails. On jumps they are poppy and will hold up on the landings, but the best part about these skis is how light they are. I had a pair of moments before and the punx are even lighter. (moments are wood core)

Also, Liberty LTE or Rossi Scratch (or even last years S4, there are a few out there for really cheap... http://suburbanskiandbike.com/store/product/14094/S4-Jib-10-11-168/ or call Colorado Ski Shop, link in my sig, I know they have a bunch in stock cause I was just there today, they're just not on their site). LTE if you want a softer ski, Scratch/S4 if you want a stiff, but still fun ski, Filthy Rich if you want a rockered ski in the middle stiffness wise. All three are really light and durable though.

Umm, I think they were $350 also, they had 168s and 174s in stock from what I saw.

line mastermind could be an option? also liberty lte is also quite nice from what ive heard, but, although they may be a bit more pricy, if you could squeeze in the extra cash, they have a 3 year warranty and take care of their customers quite well from what people have said

a 171 for someone 5'10"? that wouldn't be very fun... my gf who's 5'6" rides bigger than that, if you know what I mean... hahahaha

Lots of fun, not really the lightest ski out there, but not the heaviest either. I enjoyed mine last year, great rail ski for sure.

yo flashkick, are they durable?

They're pretty durable actually, plus if you get them at a legit enough shop K2 will warranty just about anything for the most part, really good warranty.

I don't ski that much park anymore, but when I take my LTEs out I always have so much fun and it makes me wonder why I don't go to the park more often.  They are very durable, super poppy, and their customer service kills it.  3 year warranty is unheard of.

I'm not sure how much of a change has occurred since Liberty went from Larose Pro (which I own and use) to the current seasons version of the LTE, but I know the LTE intention was to replaced the Larose (since he faded out) and it has very similar characteristics to the Larose and is aimed at the same type of rider. With that being said...

I am really surprised, and stoked on how my Larose pros have turned out over the years. The bamboo(b!) core started out a little stiff but softened up after a bit into a really snappy and flexible ski. I liked how the bamboo core felt in these skis so much that I placed a high value on it during my search for a new ski last year and I am again very happy with the new ones (stiffer, but same feel). Now its also got an asymmetrical flex (softer nose than tail) which is noticeable but by no means inhibiting. This is going to be a feel different than your abangs but IMO it's better because the muscle and bone structure in your body are not symetrical front to back (hello knees!). Either way its not a crazy change but just know its not a simple comparison.

These skis have been very durable over the long haul as well. Having Jeronimos as my other set of skis, I use the larose Pros strictly for park/rail riding as I dont want to fuck up my beautiful Jmos! No edge cracks, no warps in the base or topsheet, sidewalls have taking some deep impacts but nothing to the core which is good, brittle topsheets though. Im would have hoped they would have addressed this issue by now as i think my skis are 4 seasons old now lol. Either way, great ski, held up over time. Would recommend LTE based on that :)
