How strongly enforced is this 18+ rule at If3? Do they card?
Also, how strongly enforced is this 18+ rule in Montreal?

I can't speak for IF3 specifically but Montreal is a very easy going city when it comes to partying (at least in North America). Just be somewhat smart about it and have some sort of 18+ ID on hand.

And there's probably always a way to get in there. Ask someone's ID you look a bit alike, just make sure to have at least a 18+ ID on you.

Montreal has a sick night life, you can't miss that.

There is a reason you have to be 18/19/21 to go to bars and shit. When the time comes, you'll understand why, just wait til you're old enough.

if it's at la mouche again it's definitely enforced. i think one year they had metal detectors, can't remember if i got carded, i generally do get carded even though i'm now 25. they'll frisk you too. they kind of suck, but oh well. bars in montreal are pretty 50/50 when it comes to carding, but as a general rule, unless you look older than 18, there's a slim chance you won't get carded. i have large visible tattoos and i get carded(i still don't get it).

Last year my friend and I were 17 when we went, we bought the 18+ pass online and picked it up with no issues. Neither of us had id. We went to all the parties and only showed the pass and bought beer at the theatre no problem.

I then went to Montreal 2 weeks ago for my 18th birthday and they were fairly strict with Id's at bars and stuff but not at the liquor store at all.

They card and pat you down at some clubs. Last year they found my bag of gin hidden in between my pants and boxers.

It would be really tricky to get Taggart into anything if that's what your thinking...

If it's for Jordan (the only other person I think you're going with) follow these steps,

Step 1: Go into festivity with Dan
Step 2: Go outside with Dans ID
Step 3: Give Dans ID to Jordan
Step 4: Go have fun.

I think those two actually look enough alike to pull it off.

if you have any piece of ID that says youre 18, you are probably golden

also, buying the 18+ pass was expensive but for me and Link it basically got us in without getting carded once. we also were pretty sneaky though and tried to avoid bouncers and slide in with other people. sounds dumb, but it actually worked...
