Started today. Field school in the rockies = le awesome. We're staying at what was originally a Japanese internment camp and we have this lake just across the street from us:
Class today involved lounging around in an alpine meadow designing an experiment involving angiosperm reproduction. We've already seen a wolf, a couple coyotes and a bunch of mountain sheep.
I was a little nervous when I realized that everybody else in the group is almost finished their degree but they're all really laid back, the food is good, the weather is gorgeous and we have plenty of alcohol. It's the first time I've really been confident that I'm working towards the right degree.
