i am just wondering what a normal price for the early bird season pass would be close to, and is jan to mid feb pretty good conditions?

Most of the long range forecasts indicate that Baker will be a reroute hotspot for Hawaiian tourism this next winter. So if you like piña coladas and polyurethane raingear, it's gonna be SICK.

base of mt baker is like 4000 feet, base of utah resorts is  like 9000. YOU DO THE MATH IT ONLY RAINS AT FUCKIN 4000 FT~

Its cause they measure snowfall at the top of mt baker, but mt baker ski resort isnt on mt baker. Nice try r-tard~

If you come to baker, make sure you pack your 3 layer gortex or even better bring a full suit of rubber this will keep you nice and dry when its 35 degrees and pissing rain.

It rains until the volcano erupts, then it rains lava instead. Trust me, you haven't skied until you've skied 18in of fresh North Cascades basalt.

Late entry here, but this story has to be told.

Spent a long weekend at Mt. Baker in March with the intentions of getting endless face shots and proposing to my longtime girlfriend. Turned out to be the weekend from hell. We got nothing but rain the entire time, my center mounted park skis were nothing to the volcano's casade cement and my 5K steezy outerwear was soaked the second I got out of my truck and only dried during its sacrifice to Ullr to get me the fuck out of this damned state. I came here for powder turns and have gotten nothing but bullshit and rain. My Mt. Baker story continues with us heading down to Tahoe for powder, weeks at a time.

In the end, head towards the REAL MOUNTAINS WITH REAL SNOW, the PNW is all bullshit.

For real...

Baker might be my favorite resort. Sure it's pnw cement, but the resort is EMPTY. Awesome slackcountry and sidecountry, very cheap to ski at, and everyone who's there really has a passion for skiing. Because to live/stay in glacier, you gotta enjoy skiing.

 wait a second you went on a "pow trip" in march? okay whatever i quess whistler got great snow in march, but you have no right to complain about having trouble trying to ski in the snow when you brought CENTER MOUNTED PARK SKIS!!!!!!! for quote "endless faceshots" you would have just as much if not more trouble skiing if you had actual deep powder next time you plan a "pow trip" how about going in December and bringing/renting ski that are actually meant to ski powder in
