Bindings for Armada jj s??

i weigh 155lbs 5'11'' ....i was thinking about the Rossi fks 140 XXL, but wanted to hear what you guys thought?

also mounting?? i want to have my skis mounted in a spot that will allow me to spin decently/ ride switch, but also so i can charge hard and stay afloat with out having to leaning back all day

I have jester on my JJ and i love them, mount them at recommended, their are a 5 dimension ski, so i would suggest you to monut them where the recommended it. Mine are there and i love them for everything

FKS 140 or Look Pivot (same binding, made in the same factory, different paint scheme) are awesome. Probably the safest binding on the market, given the pivot heel piece. If you can afford them, go for it.

As for the JJ mounting, Armada's recommended mounting point is -5 from center.

I've skied the 195 AK JJ at -4 and (as well as at the -5 recommended point). I think you'll be very happy with them at -4 from center. The JJ skis really well switch, but at -4 you won't be so centered as to compromise charging ability.

i would go recommended they are a 5 dimensional ski as said before ^ and they are not symetrical anything other then recommended is going to make it hard for skiing pow.

In wider dimensions, Marker only makes 110 and 130mm brakes.

I put 110s on the AK JJ I skied (120mm underfoot), and they cleared the edged and tucked up just fine, so you should be fine at 115 underfoot going with the 110mm.

I've got some nice Salomon STH 16 on them, I've got about 160 lbs and they are working perfectly.

They don't fell of your feet when you don't need them to release and in hard cases they open safely.
Best choice for me though.

I don't own them, but spent a couple days on a pair we were testing....its the JJ, just bigger and better

Wow, they look perfect for me.. i think my first powder ski will be those.. i'm 6'2 and a big guy ! so 195 will be perfect ! thanks k+

i would stay away from marker.  they love to rip out of the JJs for some reason.  I went with a freeski140 instead of the FKS just mainly for personal preference.  I mounted mine at -3cm so +2from the line and they are perfect.  They feel more playful and ride better switch than my old pair that were mounted at the recommended -5

^ Any articles or threads where it talks about Markers ripping out of JJs? Was deciding between those or Tyrolias for my JJs.

I have seen these. Marker quality to me has gone way down hill. Also the only threads I remember are about dukes or barons. Could be wrong though

I've skiied early season with my buddy who has JJs and the heel piece ripped out two weekends in a row. He also had them move it forward to -4 and liked it but after lunch again, POP goes the binding right out the JJ. As you can imagine he wasn't super pumped
