probably in shock. i would be SHITTING myself.
i had to help with a rope rescue at the ski hill this year. was in a really bad area took like 2 hours.

Dude was completely out of it. Probably from being knocked out.

If you heard them say he was "A&O times 1", that means he was alert, but but pretty much knew his name and that was it. He had no idea what happened, where he was, or what to do.
