So recently i've been getting really into animation and animated films. Currently i've been focusing on Hayao Miyazaki films like Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, and Spirited Away. Also animation such as the video for Blockhead's "The Music Scene" The more and more i see the more i want to persue animation in my own art. Anyone out there feel the same and have any good suggestions?

i had to do a thirty second animation for a 2d design class (not 2d design at alllll) but i can tell you animating is a bitch. super cool though. ill see if i can dig up my animation. i recall the story being epic, but the visuals rather shitty.

had to use paper cutouts a bunch. thats why half of it looks so shitty. 12 frames per second. enjoy

oh and OP spirited away is such a sick movie. my friend showed me some music video miyaaki did where the music sucked but the scenes were amazing. ill bump when i ask her about it
