Who's playing football this fall?

I'm two weeks away from the first game of my senior season. We have some goo players, and the chance to be the best team at my school in a long time.
I play at boulder high, a 5A school in CO.

Two weeks out for me too, we have a good chance at being really good. We are a small school that's been doing very well the last couple years and our first game is against a big school in Seattle that we embarrassed in their home opener last year and this year we play them in our house

Oh and I play for Central Kitsap High School a 4a school in Silverdale,WA

Im playing this year.. well when i can (AC separation) im going into sophmore year i play DB and WR
We will be good and i say we make it to state for the 4th year in a row this year. Really bummin i will be missing 4-6 weeks

I am being forced to play by my dad, I think he secretly wants me to play my entire high school career because he regrets not playing senior year so he wants to re-live it through me. If I don't play I can't get my license. I fucking hate football, I work my ass off all fucking season and play 5 times a game if I am lucky. When I do get to play I run for more yards than the fucking starters in fewer plays. This sport is bullshit.

Last day of two a days today. Pretty stoked on that. Our school does two practices in a row though so we are done by 1 and then have the rest of the day free which is super nice.

its my senior year, its really gay, last year i was recruited as a place kicker. this year, i was the starting kicker, and i was told i was doing kickoffs and punts. today i was told by the asshole special teams coach that im doing extra point,(the back up qb is kicking field goals,wtf?), the punting position was taken, and that the running back wants to kick off so that makes me off kickoff team.





i am truly a 50% better punter, have 90% more range than the qb, and my kickoffs are about 400 times better than the new kids.


keep in mind that they recruited ME, i didnt even ask.

btw, i would give up everything else to be KOS, but of course, our star running back has first dibs.

I'm sorry but football is really homo. A bunch of guys takling each other in tight white pants. Most people who play football can pull it off cause they are massive black men covered in ratios but I just laugh and the overweight white kids who play it in high school.

I fucking hate our high school Football program. Our school annually grants them 40k a year, our fatass coaches drive john deers around during practice,and to top it all off we suck and the whole program acts like they have a shot at state every year. I was gonna start playing again soph year after I quit in 8th grade, but I couldn't stand the coaches. Anywho best of luck to all your teams.

I don't doubt it, it's fun to play rugby style but I'd love to try with all pads on. I wonder what position I'd fall in being 160lbs and moderately fast :D

at my school (division 1) in WI we are pretty much broke, but football still has the biggest budget. they take coach buses to every game, and they suck. soccer is very good however we get school buses

My old high school won state last year...in california.


But really, people actually care about a schools football team. In many cases a school is defined by it. It creates the largest attendance, so it is like free advertisement for the school.


And curiously what province are you from?

well thats not smart. Why doesnt your coach put your team on a summer schedule of workouts and practices? Its a lot more efficient to get work done during the summer, instead of wearing yourself down immediately before your season starts

During the summer there is weight training Monday-Thursday and conditioning on Tuesday and Thursday. Our school doesn't allow practices until the week before school technically starts so from now till we go back we have three-a-days.

your quarterbacks def have the playbook. Make copies and give it to all other position players. Get a leader of the team to organize summer 7 on 7 practices that are "voluntary"...unless you want to start.

hell invite the lineman every once in a while, the hoggies like to act like they are coordinated every once in a while haha.


There are a lot of ways to get around these "rules".

Remember- if you aint cheating, you aint trying. and it aint cheating if you dont get caught!

Well, yeah, yet only 51 million outside the US. Hmm... Compare that to over 750 million people watching the 2006 FIFA World Cup final, honcho and presumably heaps more last year.

I just don't think it's an interesting sport to watch, I've tried to watch the Super Bowl a few times but have fallen asleep before the half-time every time.
