Buttery VS Stiff

It depends. How heavy are you? Also do you go huge on jumps? Or do you mostly do rails.

Forget the jumps vs. rails argument. If you can't hit a big jump cause your skis are too soft then you're landing wrong. inb4 one might be beneficial than the other for certain circumstances as they very well may be, but if yo can land I don't see the issue. I have K2 disorderlys, which are complete noodles. do i ever have truble on jumps? no.

How about, do you like soft skis or stiff skis?

When i talk to customers I always say, "Soft snow, soft ski". In the rockies its easy to get away with a softer ski. It makes it easier to butter and they are more forgiving.

On the east coast tho i always skied a stiffer ski because the ice, i mean snow, was more aggressive and i needed the edging for control.

Always go butter! If you want more style go with soft skis. If u find them hard to jump with get bigger ones. Getting light ones doesn't hurt either.

Stiff skis if u hit alot of jumps more than rails, stiff skis are still fine on rails, buttery skis if you like hitting a little bit of everything

If your doin more jumps go stiffer....yes you can jump on noodles but typically ya get more pop out of a stiffer ski and they're way more stable on landings....also I would stick with something between 90-95 underfoot....greatly increases your landing stability....unless of course your a super pro who constantly has to throw that last 180 in....but if the biggest thing your throwin is a 540....go wider underfoot.

If you have to ask....then I am thinking the simplest answer is buttery will suit you better. Besides at 120lbs, most park skis will be stiff enough for you.
