What size of skis?

im like 5'6 and i need new skis.... buuuut im wondering what size i should look for. would a 172 be too big? or should i go for something around 166?

Nope 172 wouldn't be too big. Anything from like a 164 to a 172ish will work fine.

This. Low 170s would be the average length, adjust if you like shorter or longer skis by 5cm or so in either direction. Go a bit bigger if you get a ski with park rocker too.

alright... yeah i like a little bit shorter, but the nine lifes have a bit of an early rise, so i think ill just get them.
