What lens?

Hey guys im getting a t2i soon, I know theres tons of threads likes this, but i wanted to see what you guys think. I'm getting a t2i soon, what lens(es) should I get? Also try to stay relatively low on prices, thanks guys, K+ for advice/help

tamron 17-50. and don't get the canon 50 1.8, buy a pentax smc 50 1.4 and get an adapter. but get the tamron first

do you have a link to a pentax for sale, and for an adapter for a canon? i have the 50mm f2 for my pentax and would like to try it out on my canon.

apologies to OP if i'm threadjacking btw. also the general advice is don't get the kit lens, get something like the tamron. i got the kit lens because it was a good deal with my camera but i'm looking to change pretty soon

its cool cliffy, and can I get a link to the tamron? and is their quality control good like canon, are the optics good on it?

and your pentax may also be k mount... dont buy that adapter unless youre sure its the right one. ive also heard that its good to get an adapter with focus confirm in it.

oh yeah just check out ebay or amazon. pretty much any one will do.

and they have them on ebay, they arent specifically labeled "non vc" though. you can easily get them for 350 buy it now and probably 300 if you bid on one
