Need a new job

so im 16 look way older and i need a new job for during school does anyone have any suggestions for a chill place to work?

work where you can make the most money, or which place will hire you. it's not like you drive down the road and say, "i think i'll work there."

Grocery store, people think working at grocery stores suck but there's so many different things you can do, I'm in meat now and once I get into an apprenticeship to become a meat cutter I'll be making. Like $16 an hour and thats mad good money for working in a grocery store. Plus no matter how bad our economy gets people always need groceries, I could basically make a career out of my job and I'm only 18, it's the way to go if you ask me

ya i worked at a grocery store last year liked it but want to explore other types of jobs and get more experience before university when i will actaully need the money i make

You can make a ton of cash working in restaurants. I buss at at seafood joint and make 100-140$ a night (hourly wage + tips). I also wash dishes, it doesn't pay as well but it's chill.

@TRANNYFINDER..., depends on what restaurant you work at. Last summer I worked at boston pizza as a busser getting paid $8 an hour and only made $1500 in 6 months. Paid like shit. Now I work at a grocery store, getting paid $9 and I already made $1400 in 3 months. I also work at a pizza place getting paid $10 + tips. I've worked there for a month and a half and I already have $700 from that job. I recently got another job at my dad's work. Some VP is coming in next week so they hired me to clean up and shit. Getting paid $13, but this job is only for like 9 days, but I have a job there next summer if I want.

OP, just apply to places non stop. Just because you applied once doesn't mean you cant go back there a week later and apply again. Show that you want the job. Pizza places are good places to work at. Make a decent amount of tips depending on when and where you work. Last summer I was applying for 3 or 4 months and I got a job in the middle of summer. This year I got a job in May. Make sure to apply before summer starts. Better chance of getting a job before college kids.

Minimum wage in Ontario is 10.25 an hour which is sweet. It definitely depends on the place and how busy it is. There are good nights and bad nights. I have worked 3-4 shifts a week for the past 2.5 months and have made close to 3.5 grand. /claim

I'm 14, I work the till at KFC, and its honestly not that bad. Not much cleaning or shit. Plus I get 50% off meals and free drinks whenever I want.

Get a job at a chill golf course. They are laid back and most people toke. Cart crew or maintenance....fuck working in the pro-shop or indoors.

That sick. Minimum wage in BC was $8 when I was working at Boston Pizza. Now it's $8.75 and its going to get to $10.50 by May. When I was working at Boston Pizza, I always worked Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Friday and Saturday were busy, Thursday was always dead as fuck. My hours sucked ass too. I never had set hours. Once it died, I was done. Once I worked for 45 minutes only due to it being dead as fuck. I'm never going to apply at a restaurant again. I hated it.

yea i work at a reestaurant too and on a friday night bussing i usually make like 100 bucks which is pretty good. i also dishwash which means no tips but its not that bad and sometimes fun. oh yeah and if you smoke weed a restaurant is the best place to work at. everyone smokes at my restaurant and its convienant.

this. but i don't get nearly this much if i bus tables at night. plus, waiters usually get most of the tips and i doubt the OP could become a waiter at 16 just starting out in his working life (at least i never would have)

Yea thats only on fridays. i dont make as much on other days pretty much no matter what i make more than what i would make minimum wage anywhere else

Work where there is money. Golf courses, marinas, high end restaurants country clubs.. People o to these places to spend money they want to give it you. Seriously if you live near a marina you can bankkkk washing boats like hundred or two a yacht eassy

Take any place that will hire you. Wash dishes, bus tables at restaurants. Like said a golf course would be a prime job, but depending where you live they can be pretty far drive away. I'd go for busing tables part-time, they usually need people for the big night so Friday and Saturday and that is when the tips are much higher.
